The displays throughout the History Center strive to bring history to life, inspiring everyone who interacts with us to connect with the rich heritage of the county.

While our collection’s main emphasis is Freeborn County history, any historical and genealogical research can be conducted in our library.

There is something here for everyone - age 2 to 92 - tours, exhibits, special events, presentations, classes, and even off-site activities.

Fun, thought-provoking museum tours that make great outings for senior groups, social clubs, bus tours, other historical societies, or family groups.
